This hand shaped, scallop edged ceramic butter dish is an elegant addition to your kitchen counter and dining table. The base plate and lid are finished with a soft speckle glaze. The smaller cloche holds a quarter pat and the larger a half a pat of butter. Not only is it pretty, it is also dishwasher safe!
These dishes are made by hand, in small batches, by me at my studio in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.
smaller - approx size 16cm diameter wide x 10cm high
larger - approx size 20cm diameter wide x 12cm high
this item is food safe and dishwasher safe though hand washing is preferable
each item varies slightly as the clay is hand shaped, hand glazed and kiln fired at high temperatures
