These plates are made from stoneware clay and hand painted with green garlands. I then add red or golden berries and fire with a transparent glaze. The red berries add a festive burst of colour and the golden berries add a touch of luxury and are made from 24 carat gold and have a third firing in the kiln.
These plates are great to adorn your festive table and look even better adorned with mince pies!
These dishes, plates and platters are made by hand, in small batches, by me at my studio in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.
Small round dish: approx size 14cm diameter x 1cm high
Medium round plate: approx size 20cm diameter x 1cm high
Large round serving platter: approx size 29cm diameter x 1cm high
