Mussel coastal beach shell inspired ceramic dish

These tactile dishes are inspired by trips to the coast, seeing the beautiful colours and forms of mussel shells. These dishes are made from stoneware clay and glazed in white with indigo blue and black granite edges. They look great used as a side or starter dish (as shown here by @tara_cookery), as a feature dish for butter or olives or used as a trinket or soap dish.

These dishes are made by hand, in small batches, by me at my studio in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.

• this item is food safe and dishwasher safe though hand washing is preferable
• each item varies slightly as the clay is hand shaped, hand glazed and kiln fired at high temperatures
