These little trinket bowls are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand but big enough to hold rings, earring, coins or tablets.
During their second firing they are filled with fusion glass pieces that melt into the glaze to create these beautiful reflective effects. No two bowls are identical but are all in the same colour family of blues and greens.
These dishes are made by hand, in small batches, by me at my studio in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.
approx size 6cm wide x 3cm high
this item is not food safe due to the glass surface but smooth to the touch and washable
each item varies slightly as the clay is hand shaped, hand glazed and kiln fired at high temperatures
These little bowls can also be worn as glasses (photo below was sent by one of my lovely customers!)
